Maribel is the Founder and Principal at Beget Love Consulting. A 15-year marketing veteran, she founded Beget Love with one goal in mind — to bring the heart back into communications. She pairs her on-the-nose instincts to enable and elevate conversations, strategies, and activations for her clients. Her mission is to ensure that nonprofits, community leaders, founders from marginalized communities, and private sector businesses feel confident in and excited about their communication strategies. 

Before leading Beget Love Consulting, Maribel was part of the founding leadership team of Vayner’s The Sasha Group, serving as its SVP, Head of Consulting, Head of VaynerMedia Mexico, and Chief of Staff for founder Gary Vaynerchuk. During her decade working in higher education, she focused on student leadership development. She holds an undergraduate degree from Tufts University, as well as two graduate degrees from Baruch College, City University of NY: a Masters in Education and an honors MBA in Marketing and Management. 

Since 2019, Maribel has served on the advisory board for Luminary, a global, membership-based professional education and networking platform founded with the mission to uplift, up-skill, and propel women and their allies forward through all phases of their professional journeys. She served as a two-time board member for Central Queens Academy, a tuition-free charter school in New York City that serves a predominantly immigrant community. Maribel has taught the Marketing Communications & Branding as well the Social Media Communications courses over 5 academic terms in the Masters in Communications program at Saint Peter’s University in New Jersey.
